Sorry to anyone who likes my tumblr.

I’ve kind of forgotten about it. I’ve had a lot going on and I just haven’t really been into tumblr lately. I’m going to sit down and queue a bunch of stuff up right now. I can’t promise that I’ll start being consistent but it’s something. Thanks for sticking around.

I’m finally home from working a booth at Anime Expo.

I have to say I was rather disappointed by the con. For it being one of the largest anime conventions in the US, it really wasn’t all that great. I expected to see tons of really amazing cosplays but I only ended up seeing a couple. I like Texas cons much better. But the weather in California was really amazing. It felt so cool and nice. It would’ve been nice to have a chance to check out California more while I was down but we didn’t have any extra time. Maybe another time. It feels really great to be home. I am going to miss the 70 degree weather, though.

I don’t know what’s going on but…

I keep coming across blogs I’m pretty sure I was following…only go to their blog and see that I’m not….and then I go through their archives to see if they’ve recently remade their tumblr…and they haven’t. I’m not sure if I’m just going crazy or if there is a glitch with tumblr that’s caused me to somehow accidentally unfollow some blogs? I’ve also encountered some blogs I thought I unfollowed because they changed the type of things that they reblog…but when I go to their blog, I see it’s the same as usual. I even checked their archive as well to see if it was just for a period of time that they changed the content and then changed it back….but no. It was like it always is. Perhaps I was thinking of a different blog…….Strange things going on.

So I shaved my cat today.

Or I guess, it was yesterday, looking at the time. He was being more difficult than normal about it which made everything a lot more complicated. I’m pretty sure it was because we didn’t shave him last year, so it freaked him out more than usual. He really appreciates it once we’re done, though. It was really sad because he bit me for the first time…twice. He didn’t bite me that hard and I knew it was only because he started getting really irritated towards the end so it’s not a big deal…though it still made me a little sad. But I did get lots of scratches from him all over my arms and legs. We even trimmed his claws beforehand. Gah. After we got done shaving him I gave him a bath. It’s really cute because he pretends he doesn’t like baths but when we start pouring the water on him, he’ll start purring. He still tries to jump out a bit but since weighs so little it’s not hard to stop him. He went into hiding after I let him back into my room. He came out for a little bit but when I got up to show him that I put some catnip on his kitty house, he ran back under the bed. But now he’s past his pouty phase and back into his “Thank you so much for getting rid of all those knots this feels so great I love you so I’m going to headbutt you forever and be super adorable and lovey” self.
